Before any teaching begins, I need to understand exactly where your child is — not just what topics they struggle with, but how they think through a problem and where marks are actually being lost. This session produces a precise map of what's weak, what's strong, and what the exam is specifically rewarding.

Exam intelligence — an A* student reads a question and already knows where it ends before they've written a word. Not talent — training. We teach students to think like the person who set the paper, not just the person answering it.

Read before you solve — most marks are lost before a pen touches paper. Identifying what a question is actually testing — the specific method, the expected structure, the notation that signals competence — is a skill most students are never shown. We make it automatic.

We specialise in A-Level Mathematics. Our primary board is Edexcel, and we also cover AQA, OCR and other boards — all at A-Level.
Two sessions per week is the sweet spot for most students — enough frequency to build momentum without overwhelming alongside college work. For students with urgent exam pressure or ambitious university targets, we discuss the right pace in the initial conversation.
